Cricket Installation at Scunthorpe Town Cricket Club!
We recently completed the installation of a double bay Notts Sport Cricket System with a fully synthetic footprint at Scunthorpe cc. The project began with the careful dismantling of the existing cage structure and the removal of the old concrete slab, followed by a thorough clean-up of the area. The site was excavated to the client’s exact specifications to prepare for the new cricket lanes.
We supplied and installed two 30 x 2.74m Notts Sport Envelope System practice pitches, fully surrounded by Notts Sward low-maintenance materials to create a comprehensive synthetic practice surface. The project also included the installation of a new double bay cage and netting system, complete with wire tensioning and a rodent skirt for added durability and protection.
Our cricket facilities are designed to closely replicate natural playing conditions. This ensures that when the sports surface is wet, it offers slower and lower play, while in dry conditions, it becomes quicker and provides more bounce.
