Collingham and District Cricket Club are the largest and most successful cricket team in the area and they contacted Notts Sport and ourselves to tender for a large Triple Lane cricket practice area at the club.
Further to site visits to ascertain the exact requirements of the club, it was decided to extend their current double lane cricket practice facility to create the new three lane area. The club also decided it required a Notts Sport Non-Turf cricket pitch to accommodate Junior and Womens use and take pressure of the natural square.
The Notts Sport Envelope Systems which carry full ECB approval were specified with the Notts Grass NG Ultra premier tufted surface preferred with straw coloured natural looking yarn with green surrounds and coaching lines to each outside lane.
This got installed within time and within budget and we used grass track tyres on our machinery to minimise disruption and damage to the cricket field.
The club are delighted with the outcome and have been presented with all maintenance and warranty documentation and have posted a review onto our google review page.
