Cricket Facilities

Bingham Ground Services are authorised distributors for Notts Sport® cricket systems who are market leaders in the development and production of synthetic cricket facilities.

We specialise in the installation of artificial cricket pitches and cricket practice areas, we can undertake initial site surveys and offer help and advice on areas to gain funding through to the installation and guidance on ongoing maintenance.

The Notts Sport® Non-Turf Cricket Pitches and Practice Facilities which we install exclusively are fully ECB approved and as such can attract a variety of funding, we deal with small patch repairs of an existing non-turf cricket pitch right through to four lane cricket practice nets.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss any of your requirements or even get advice on your existing facility.

These facilities are a huge investment for a club to make and one which will aim to last 10-12 years so it is important that it gets the care and attention it deserves and this is an area which we feel we excel in and offer excellent customer service.

Outdoor Playgrounds

Bingham Ground Services are distributors and installers of various types of outdoor playground surfaces. We offer a design and fitting service to tailor the installation of your play area to exactly meet your requirements and indeed budget!

Synthetic carpet play surfaces can be laid on flat or undulating surfaces, giving added interest to difficult areas. Unusual features can be incorporated into the design such as slopes or mounds. The surfacing can be easily laid around existing playground equipment.

The carpets which we fit can be easily laid over existing wet pour and rubber tiled areas which may be showing signs of wear without any detriment to the critical fall height capability. A major benefit of having carpets installed is its resistance to vandalism as its sand filled, as well it being easy to repair.

This has become more popular in the last year and the plastic base lasts longer than painted lines

We generally do this in Schools and can design and install to suit the required budget and work around the School when installing.  All installers are fully trained in the works and are all DBS checked.

Multi Sports Surfaces

Bingham Ground Services install Multi Use Games Areas or Muga’s for short to suit varying budgets and performance criteria.  We can help you design your new games area and can provide ideas of where to gain funding from.

The surfaces we use vary from sand filled which is the most popular to 3G rubber filled which require more upkeep following install.

Get in touch for any initial advice when considering a new facility or re surface of an existing.

These areas can be ideal in Primary Schools as kick about areas especially in the winter months when the field is out of bounds!!

Sand Filled

brushWe supply and install sand filled hockey surfaces with pile heights from 18 to 25 mm. Sand filled synthetic grass is suitable for hockey as well as other multi sport activities where a wider range of sports are to be played. Sand Filled synthetic grass can be installed directly onto macadam. If a degree of resilience is required for hockey, a rubberised shock pad can be installed beneath the sand filled surface.

3G Surfacing

grass-twistAs well as sand filled surfaces we also can supply and install 3G rubber filled surfaces, these surfaces are far more realistic than the sand filled but are far more demanding in terms of ongoing maintenance and basically need drag brushing after every session.

The ball bounce is excellent for Football and performance is excellent for Rugby and we can offer surfaces to meet with the governing body requirements

Wet Pour Cleaning

Bingham Ground Services undertake the servicing of existing wet pour areas using specialist cleaning products and power brushing machine

The process involves the application of specialist detergent to the area then hand scrub to activate the product then power brush off with our custom build machine and then wash the area.

This process is far cheaper than replacement of the existing surface or overlaying of the area with play surfacing both of which we can do but this gives another life to drab areas the benefits of the clean include

  • Neutralise the area from Bacteria which is notorious on wet pour areas as food gets dropped and provides a perfect breeding ground, not ideal in School environments
  • Removes dirt from the rubber pores and therefore makes the area more porous and less slippery which is a common problem on this type of surface especially in the winter months
  • Makes the area better for drainage as water can drop through rather than sit on top, again in winter there is less water to freeze on top
  • Looks Better!!

Works carried out by fully trained professionals who are DBS checked and Risk Assessments and Method Statements provided.
